Position
The Core Network Engineer's will be responsible for software development on the core network (UMTS/WCDMA) and the evolved packet core (LTE).
- Analyze customer requirements, identify risks and develop solutions to deliver quality software solutions.
- Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of core network modules in an embedded or pc environment.
- Support software implementation and conduct debugging on new and existing embedded/pc software solutions.
- Interact with product development team to provide best possible solution to customer requirements.
Experience
- Must have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
- An M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- 5 years’ experience in developing various elements within the core network/ evolved packet core.
- C/C++ development and object oriented software design expertise.
- Experience with network protocol stacks, and especially cellular protocol stacks a plus.
