Position

  This complex solution requires a dynamic troubleshooting environment with tools to process and ferret out information to keep our customers' systems operating optimally. Our growing customer base demands effective and timely responses to their mission-critical needs. Your job will be to provide and maintain an effective environment for the support team to deliver this crucial service.

Experience


  • Responds to support team members requests for lab system configurations and data analysis tool needs
  • Builds, configures, and manages a lab environment for problem reproduction utilizing VMware ESX
  • Maintains and supports the development of the support team’s CRM applications, including Salesforce.com
  • Performs sustaining engineering on our Cast Iron middleware business application integrations 
  • Researches and recommends storage, archival and indexing solutions for customer data
  • Develops tools to analyze customer data in coordination with engineering
  • Advises and directs outsourced web master responsibilities
  • Manages the configuration of the Cisco CCX (call distribution) VoIP solution
  • Education, Skills and Experience
  • Five plus years of experience in IT, business analysis and software development
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
  • Business systems analysis and application design with proven ability to capture business requirements in software specifications
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must work well in an fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities 
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Methodical approach to problem solving through using available tools as well as designing and implementing new tools
  • Ability to create software tools to automate complex manual data processing tasks using Java, MS Windows batch scripting, PowerShell, etc.
  • Data mining experience with large sets of raw log data 
  • Good understanding of the network infrastructure in a modern enterprise, including configuring the switching and routing components, as well as IP unicast and multicast
  • Knowledge of various VMware offerings including VMware workstation, ESX, vSphere, Lab Manager and ACE
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and deploy new software applications
  • VMware enterprise design and deployment experience (vCenter, ESX, and ESXi)
  • Experience specifying and designing blade and rack-mount server solutions 
  • Enterprise SAN storage configuration experience 
  • Experience managing and maintaining data applications including MySQL, SQL Server, Software-As-A-Service applications
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com administration useful
  • Cast Iron appliances developing/supporting orchestrations experience desirable
  • Experience developing Web 2.0 applications is desirable
